The Jouer Team's Must-Have Essentials For Fall
The Jouer team is all geared up for fall with pumpkin mania (who isn’t?) and a few other essentials that make this cozy time a year one of our favorites. Even though most of us are based on the West Coast, all it takes is a few of these picks to help us Californians get in the fall spirit...no matter what the thermostat says.
THE TEAM'S FALL FAVORITES:
This is one of Laurie’s favorite hand soaps she brings out after Labor Day and before the holidays. It blends the perfect autumn scents of fresh-picked apples, autumn berries, and clove buds.
If you weren’t aware, Palo Santo has become a “thing.” You’ve most likely smelled the soothing, sweet and woody scent burning at your yoga studio or massage therapist’s office. The aroma of Palo Santo is everywhere and Katie is just as obsessed as everyone else.
Once Melissa feels the temps start to dip, she straps on these Docs — a more feminine version of the traditional Doc Martens lace-up boot. With a rich brown shade that screams fall, they’re super comfortable and perfect for pumpkin and apple-picking outings.
The Sherpa weighted blanket keeps Nicolette snug and warm when it starts getting chilly. The neutral tone of the blanket looks nice in the bedroom or thrown over a couch.
Nicolette also adds the Jouer Lip Mask to protect her lips from dry weather because it’s packed with so many nourishing ingredients, including Grape Seed and Jojoba Seed Oils, Shea Butter, and Hyaluronic Acid. She applies every night before bed.
MY FALL FAVORITES:
When I decorate my home for fall, the décor doesn’t stop at the front porch. I go wild and place them all over the house. These white pumpkins, grouped with other décor items, make chic tablespaces on my living room coffee table, kitchen island, and back deck.
A telltale sign of fall for me is when the chilly air starts to dry out my skin, and that's why I can’t get enough of our Blush & Bloom Cheek + Lip Duo. The Squalane and Rose Hip Oils, Shea Butter, and Vitamin E formulation bring super hydrating benefits to the creamy, velvety formula.
Cornbread Soufflé Recipe
I’m all about warm and toasty comfort foods when the weather cools down. This cornbread souffle dish has made many appearances at brunches, holidays, and gatherings over the years. And it’s super easy to make.
Preheat oven to 350
In a bowl, add:
2 eggs beaten
1/2 stick of butter (melted)
1 cup sour cream
1 package jiffy corn muffin mix
1 can cream corn
1 can corn (drained)
Mix together and pour into oven safe serving dish
Cook for approximately 45 minutes
A felt hat gives any casual fall outfit an instant upgrade. It‘s a little bohemian, a little relaxed, and a lot of chic. On this one, I especially love the faux leather band and metal stud detail, too.
